The doctrine that we have is very important; the doctrine we have will have a direct impact on the level of abundance that we see in our lives.
Doctrine simply means the “teaching of a teacher”.
My wife Nunsy taught about this at a ladies meeting last night and got across how important the way we think is.
The way we think is our doctrine in a sense; it is what we have been taught and what we believe.
The Word tells us that how we think dictates how we live and not vice versa (Proverbs 23 v 7).
What we think and the way we think is vital; this is an idea that I’ve written about in the past in DIG and will write about again in the future!
Good and sound teaching is essential to enable us to grow in our walk with the Lord; sound teaching will lead to understanding and it is understanding of the Word of God that leads to permanent change in our lives.
Be transformed by the renewing of your mind through the truths in His Word is what the Bible says (Romans 12 v 2).
Never let anyone tell you that doctrine is an ugly word or ugly concept; your doctrine is very important.
Good and sound teaching should always be based on the Word of God and on the finished work of Jesus; anything else is not sound doctrine.
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord for your Word; thank you that it is here where I learn the truths about Jesus”.
Titus 2 v 1…..But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine
