DIG for Monday the 4th of February…..inclusiveness; a deliberate policy of Jesus…..Galatians 3 v 28

I preached from John 3 and 4 at MGF yesterday, looking at the two extremes of society that we see in Nicodemus and the Samaritan woman.

I used this picture to show how Jesus came to sweep away gender, race and class issues; indeed He came to remove religion.

Galatians 3 v 28 also shows us that there should be no exclusions in church due to gender, race or class.

There is no difference between men and women; there is no difference between people of different race; there is no difference between levels in society.

We still see prejudice in today’s society along grounds of gender , race and class; we should not see this in the church.

Jesus used his encounters in John 3 and 4 as a picture to say there would be no exclusions form His Kingdom as far as He was concerned.

He wants all in His Kingdom and He wants all to be saved (2 Peter 3 v 9).

Jesus does not exclude anyone; so do not exclude yourself and do not let any man exclude you through false teaching and religion.

We are all children of God in the eye’s of the Lord; children of God through our faith in Jesus and in His finished work on the cross (Galatians 3 v 26).

Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that I am included in your love, mercy, grace and forgiveness”.

Galatians 3 v 28…..There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus
