Well, nobody spotted my deliberate mistake; I missed an “I am” statement!
Jesus is still talking about being the shepherd in this passage and talks of being a door for His sheep.
As I wrote in an earlier DIG we are His sheep; when He talks about sheep He is talking about you and me.
Jesus talks of us entering in via the door, with Him being the door.
This is talking about entering into the salvation, mercy, kindness, goodness and grace of God through Jesus.
Jesus is the only door to salvation and to God’s grace.
There are no works (side or back doors) into His Kingdom. The only way in is through the front door that is Jesus.
Faith in Jesus is all that is required; faith in Jesus is the only door into His Kingdom.
Once through the door that is Jesus we have eternal security and are saved.
Jesus is the only door to salvation and no religion can provide what He has provided.
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that Jesus has opened the door to salvation and thank you that I have walked through”.
John 10 v 9…..I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out and find pasture
