My friends, if you are a born again believer today, it you are a follower of Jesus Christ, then you are an heir of God.
Paul goes even further in his letter to the Romans telling us that we are joint-heirs with Christ if we are children of God (Romans 8 v 17).
Do you know what that means?
It means that you are entitled to everything that God has as His heir; He is your Father and you are entitled to what is His.
You have an inheritance from God that includes all His riches (Ephesians 1 v 11).
And the good news is that you are entitled to that inheritance now because of the finished work of Jesus Christ.
You are not entitled because of your good works, your self-righteousness, your prayers or tithes or church attendance; you are entitled because you are in Christ.
You may be thinking but I am not worthy enough to be called a joint-heir with Christ and that would be true, however Jesus is worthy enough and you receive because of His worthiness.
No one would argue that Jesus would not be worthy to receive an inheritance from the Father.
You my friend are in Christ and trust Christ so you are now deemed worthy because of that and you can receive all the riches from His glory NOW.
You have been adopted, you have been accepted and you have been given all spiritual blessings already because of your faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
Your job is to believe on Him whom He hath sent; that is Jesus Christ.
Your job is to believe and receive, that is what Father God wants for you.
He wants you to live in and enjoy your inheritance NOW; He wants you to live that abundant life that Jesus came to provide for you (John 10 v 10).
He wants you in health and prosperity; that is why you were adopted and made heirs (3 John 2).
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that through the finished work of Jesus Christ I have been made a joint-heir with Him and can receive my inheritance from you right now”.
Galatians 4 v 7…..Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ
