Hebrews 10 is one of the most encouraging passages in the whole of Scripture.
It describes what Jesus has done for us and how He has already dealt with sin, meaning we have no more offerings to make (Hebrews 10 v 18).
We are not required to do anything to deal with sin in terms of our relationship with God as Jesus has done it already.
We do even need to be aware of sin (Hebrews 10 v 12) let along “confess” and “repent” for it i.e. look for our sin then beg and plead with God for forgiveness.
Jesus dealt with our sin ONCE.
He made ONE offering for our sanctification (Hebrews 10 v 10).
He made ONE offering for all sin throughout all time (Hebrews 10 v 12).
He made ONE offering that would perfect us for ever (Hebrews 10 v 14).
The “sin issue” was been solved once and for all two thousand years ago, there is nothing left for you to do in this area.
Your “job” is to focus on Jesus and what He has done.
If God has chosen not to remember your sin what right do you have to (Hebrews 10 v 17)?
Your “job” is to rest in the truth that Jesus has completed His finished work and is now seated at the right hand of the Father.
You can now boldly approach the Lord for a wonderful relationship (Hebrews 10 v 19 and 20).
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord for the finished work of Jesus Christ”.
Hebrews 10 v 12…..But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God
