DIG for Monday the 9th of February…..take encouragement from the truth…..Isaiah 41 v 10

There are times when every single one if us needs to be encouraged, at such times we should turn to the Word of God.

The Bible is full of encouragement for the born again believer with Isaiah 41 v 10 being one of the most uplifting verses in there.

This verse is for us if we are in a state of fear or starting to fear (that is what dismay means).

We can remove fear and anxiety from our lives with the assurance that God is with us and that He really wants to strengthen us and help us.

If God is with us what is there to fear? Is there anything mightier than God or more powerful than Him?

He is willing to sustain us, or uphold us as this verse says.

He is an active God who wants the best for us and wants to be involved in our lives.

In this context the right hand is a picture of power and strength, so if the power and might of God is for us and with us what have we to fear?

Meditate on this verse tonight; pour over it, reading it out aloud again and again until you can believe what is says.

Get each truth into your heart.

God is with you, He wants you not to be fearful or be anxious, He wants to strengthen and help you and He wants to sustain you.

Now that’s encouragement.

Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord for your Word, and thank you that it is there to build me up and encourage me”.

Isaiah 41 v 10…..Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee: yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness
