I wrote a DIG the other day about Jesus being the express image of the Father (Hebrews 1 v 3).
Jesus never made anyone sick, so we can say that God does not either.
This is a Biblical truth that is still not understood or believed in certain sections of the church.
It is a lie of the enemy, spread by religion that says God will impose illness and sickness to make us “better” Christians.
Sickness is a curse (Deuteronomy 28) and is a work of the enemy.
Jesus healed ALL people on numerous occasions and we read that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil; that is why we can say it is the work of the enemy and not the work of God.
Jesus never put illness on anyone, and if we look at Him we see the Father.
Illness is part of God’s plan for us; indeed He wants us to live in abundance and health (3 John 2).
Jesus took all our sickness and pain on the cross (Isaiah 53 v 4 and 5).
He did this so that we could live in healing and wholeness; we WERE healed by His stripes.
Jesus is the express image of the Father and He is in fact also God.
God is not schizophrenic; He does not make us sick on one hand and then heal us with another.
The simple fact is He healed us through the finished work of Jesus and our healing is waiting there to be made manifest in our lives.
Healing is from God not sickness and illness.
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that you want me to live in health and abundance and thank you that you have made that provision through the finished work of Jesus Christ”.
3 John v 2…..Beloved, I wish above all else that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth
