I heard a wonderful teaching the other night that included this awesome statement; that a thief could only steal what you already have.
This of course is obvious in the natural world; a thief can only steal your tv and laptop if you already have a tv and laptop!
The same is true in the Kingdom.
Jesus came to bring us life and life in abundance, and this includes healing and wholeness, joy, peace and prosperity.
We are told that the enemy comes to steal this abundant life from us (John 10 v 10).
Therefore it is logical (and correct) to say that we must already have healing and wholeness, joy, peace and prosperity.
We already have all spiritual blessings (Ephesians 1 v 3).
We already have all we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1 v 3).
This has already been provided through the finished work of Jesus Christ.
Jesus has already provided all the healing and abundance that we need, and this in fact is what God wants us to have in our lives (3 John 2).
The enemy can only try and steal these as we already have them!
All we need has been provided and is in our born again spirit waiting to be “worked out” into our body and soul (mind, will and emotions).
Understanding, belief and faith is required to renew our minds and see our lives transformed with this already existent healing and abundance (Romans 12v 2).
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord for the finished work of Jesus Christ, and thank you for the healing and abundance that has already been provided for me”.
John 10 v 10…..The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly
