DIG for Saturday the 2nd of May…..for by grace are ye healed, prospered and protected through faith…..Ephesians 2 v 8

Saved is a wonderful word in Scripture; it comes form the Greek word sozo and has a number of meanings.

It does mean to save, and can be taken to mean our “ticket into heaven”.

This is how far most people go however with this word, but it means so much more.

It also means to heal and to make whole, to protect and deliver, and also to do well (meaning prosperity).

In Ephesians 2 v 8 we see sozo translated as saved.

However this verse could be translated in a number of other ways.

It could say by grace are ye healed through faith, and that is true.

It could say by grace are ye made prosperous through faith, and that is true.

It could say by grace are ye protected through faith, and that is true.

In terms of our salvation Jesus provided so much more than just a ticket into heaven, grateful as I am for that.

He provided security and protection, healing and prosperity.

He provided all this is what we I like to call the sozo package.

Make use of this whole package today; grasp His healing and wholeness, prosperity and protection, as well as your ticket to heaven.

Benefit from your salvation in the here and now, rather than just in eternity.

Salvation is for here on earth as well as in heaven.

Speak this out today…..”Thank you for the finished work of Jesus Christ, and thank you for my healing and wholeness, prosperity and protection”.

Ephesians 2 v 8…..For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God
