DIG for Saturday the 9th of May….. met at their expression of faith; Jairus…..Mark 5 v 22 and 23

In the Word we read about different people, operating from different levels of faith.

In DIG yesterday we read about the centurion who only needed to hear the words of Jesus.

Today we are looking at Jairus, a ruler of the synagogue.

He needed help from Jesus as his daughter was at death’s door, and he wanted Jesus to come to his house and lay hands on his daughter.

That is what Jairus needed from Jesus; we could say in terms of levels of faith his was lower than that of the centurion.

Yet Jesus did not rebuke Jairus saying, “Why do I need to come, are my words not enough?”

He did not compare Jairus to the centurion, or anyone else for that matter.

He had love, mercy and compassion for Jairus and did what he wanted and needed; he went with him to the house.

He dealt with Jairus on a one to one level, as an individual.

This friend is the way Jesus will relate to you.

He wants a one to one relationship, meeting your needs at your level.

Never think that you do not have enough faith, remember that you have the measure of faith and it is the faith of Christ (Romans 12 v 3, Galatians 2 v 20 and Philippians 3 v9).

Ask from Jesus at the level that you are prepared to ask and be ready to receive.

Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that Jesus wants a personal relationship with me and wants to relate to me on my level”.

Mark 5 v 22 and 23…..And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she way be healed; and she shall live
