Staying in a hotel helps me remember why we do not have a television in the house; flicking through the channels reminded me of the rubbish being delivered from it.
I stopped on “Songs of Praise” thinking this would be safe to listen to, but how wrong could I be?
The music wasn’t great (but that was expected) but we then had to switch it off!
The conference we were attending was delivering great teaching straight from the Word, all about healing and wholeness, abundance and prosperity.
All I was hearing on TV was lies and deception, doubt and unbelief.
From the TV I heard a testimony about God being in control and about illness and disease being sent by God for a good purpose.
This is religious nonsense and I will not listen to it anymore!
In the Gospels we see Jesus healing people and never (I repeat never) putting sickness and disease on anyone.
We then read that Jesus is the express image of the Father and if we look at Jesus we see Father God.
So we can safely deduce that God never puts illness, sickness or disease on a person.
That doctrine is religious nonsense and is a lie straight from the devil.
The sad thing is that the majority of the body of Christ has swallowed this nonsense and now teaches it as mainstream understanding.
This doctrine is killing people.
It is the enemy who comes to steal, kill and destroy, while Jesus came to bring us life, and life in abundance (John 10 v 10).
Sickness, illness and disease is not from God, it is from the enemy and a sign of a fallen world.
If you are being taught this doctrine that God sends illness, sickness and disease to help us and improve us you need to get a new teacher!
Stop listening to this stuff now!
Listen to good sound doctrine, listen to teachers who tell you that God loves you and wants the best for you, including healing and prosperity (3 John 2).
Speak this out today…..”Thank you God that you want us to live in health and abundance, and you made a way for this through the finished work of Jesus Christ”.
