In the message at MGF today I continued teaching on our true identity; that is who we are in Christ and through Christ.
The Word is full of encouraging truths about how we should live our lives here on earth through Him.
We are more than conquerors through Him (Romans 8 v 37).
We are victorious through Him (1 Corinthians 15 v 57).
We are overcomers through Him (1 John 4 v 4 and 1 John 5 v 4 and 5).
Through Him we can, and should, be winners in this life.
But we will only be winners if we are persuaded that we are conquerors, overcomers and victors and start behaving appropriately.
“As a man thinketh so is he” and “death and life are in the power of the tongue” are important spiritual laws we live under.
If we think like conquerors and speak like conquerors we will more than likely behave like conquerors.
But, if we think like losers and speak like losers we will definitely behave like losers.
Jesus came to destroy the works of the enemy, so that we could live lives of abundance, health and prosperity (John 10 v 10 and 3 John 2).
Even in difficult and hard times (we will suffer persecution) we need to think and speak like conquerors and winners.
We need to know that because of our position in Christ we are already coming from a state of victory.
We are already victorious because of what He has done.
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that as a gift of grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ I am more than a conqueror and am an overcomer in this life”.
