DIG for Friday the 4th of December…..the best advisor available…..Isaiah 9 v 6

There are many counselling and advisory services available to us today, with many being good value for money (many are not).

Counselling can be a powerful tool when used properly, and is a valuable skill to have.

There is however a Counsellor or Advisor who is perfect and free, and His name is Jesus.

In this verse Jesus is called Counsellor, and the Hebrew word means advisor or counsellor.

Jesus’ counselling “service” also opens twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week, and you will never get an answering machine.

In so many ways He is the perfect Counsellor and perfect Advisor.

He has been through what we have been through; He has experienced all that we experience.

And being part of the Godhead, Jesus has perfect wisdom and knows all things, so who better to go to for advice?

Do you have a decision you have to make today?

Do you have a difficult situation that you need resolved?

Take it to Jesus, to the best advisor and counsellor that we can have.

Ask Him for advice, seek His face and listen to His perfect advice.

Then (and let me give you a brilliant piece of advice of my own here) do what He says!

Jesus will give you advice, but you need to heed it and obey it.

Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord for Jesus and thank you that He is the perfect Counsellor and perfect Advisor”.

Isaiah 9 v 6…..For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace
