“You’re a good, good Father, It’s who You are”; this is what the worship leader is singing on YouTube this morning, but is this true?
I would say yes, but the world and a lot of the church seems to say otherwise.
We are told God uses illness and death in order to teach us, help us and improve us.
When my kids were younger I never hurt them intentionally, even if it would have resulted in them “learning a lesson”.
In the Word Jesus tells us that He is the same as the Father and that He only does what He sees His Father do.
Jesus never made anyone ill; He was the Healer in the Gospels, so we can say the same of Father God.
Jesus, as the express image of the Father was good, and so we can say the same of God (Hebrews 1 v 3).
The leper asked Jesus if He would make him whole, He said yes; if this illness had come from God He would have been going against the wishes of His Father.
God is not a schizophrenic, having one nature one minute and another the next, make ill one minute and healing the next.
GOD IS GOOD!
When Jesus came to earth as a man He had a doctrine and it was the same doctrine of His Father.
That doctrine (the teaching of a teacher) is that God is good and that is what Jesus portrayed as He strode this earth.
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that you are a good, good God and thank you that you are good tome”.
John 7 v 16…..Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me
