Yesterday I wrote that ALL mankind has been reconciled to God and been forgiven for ALL sin.
This may seem quite a controversial statement, but I believe it is Biblical.
It also does not mean that ALL men are saved!
All men have had peace from God through Jesus (Luke 2 v 14).
All men have been reconciled to God through Jesus (2 Corinthians 5 v 18).
All sin has been paid for by Jesus (1 John 2 v 2 and Hebrews 10 v 12).
All men have been forgiven through the shed blood of Jesus (Ephesians 1 v 7 and Colossians 1 v 14).
Man cannot make a choice about being reconciled and forgiven, however man has to make a choice about what he does with this truth.
We can ignore it and miss out on the benefits, or we can choose to accept this truth, and accept Jesus as our lord and Saviour.
If we make this choice we are saved and made righteous (2 Corinthians 5 v 21).
Reconciliation and forgiveness is a done deal; salvation and righteousness is a choice!
Everyone has been reconciled to God and been forgiven but that is not an argument for universalism.
We have to make a choice and accept Jesus.
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that I have made a choice to trust in Jesus, and thank you that I have been saved and made righteous”.
Romans 10 v 9 and 10…..That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thins heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man beleiveth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation
