DIG for Friday the 29th of April…..of course physical healing is available today…..Matthew 8 v 17

I have started reading through the Scriptures looking for all the verses about healing, and have just read Matthew 8 where Jesus heals the leper, the centurion’s servant and Peter’s mother-in-law.

Knowing that the Scriptures say that Jesus can only do what the Father does I find it incredible to think that some people teach that physical healing is not for today!

What we see Jesus doing in the Gospels we can know that God will do today, He is the express image of the Father after all (Hebrews 1 v 3).

In Matthew 8 we see three examples of Jesus healing in a physical way.

No one in his or her right mind would say that leprosy was not a physical ailment.

No one would say that the palsy is a spiritual problem.

And when Peter’s mother-in-law was healed (along with many others) the Word says this fulfilled what Isaiah the prophet said about Jesus coming to deal with our infirmities and sickness (Matthew 8 v 17)

In the Gospels Jesus healed people of sickness and disease in their bodies.

Jesus can only do what the Father does, so healing in our physical bodies is for us today.

Healing is available for all of us today, even if some teach otherwise; the Scriptures is clear on this.

Above all things the Lord wants us to live in health and prosperity (3 John 2), so He must have made provision for the physical healing of our bodies today.

And this provision was made through the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that you want me to live in health and thank you that you have provided healing for me through the finished work of Jesus”.

Matthew 8 v 17…..That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sickness
