Opening my Bible tonight looking for some inspiration, I saw these verses highlighted.
As I was reading them I heard the words, “call to action”.
And indeed these verses are a call to action, they are a call for the believer to do something instead of sitting and waiting.
Far too many of us are sitting waiting for God to move in our lives, confused at why God is not doing things for us.
Well, I have news for you; God moved two thousand years ago.
Through the finished work of Jesus Christ the Lord has provided all we need for a life of abundance and a life of godliness (2 Peter 1 v 3).
It is now down to us to ask, seek and knock.
Ask for revelation of who Jesus is and what he has done.
Seek out the truth about who we are in Christ.
Knock on the door of abundance then open that door and receive it.
God is not holding anything back from you today, all you need has already been provided.
It is down to us to find out what He has done and provided, and it is up to us to seek it out and then move into that provision.
This is not rocket science; He has moved now we have to.
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord for the bountiful provision you have for me through the finished work of Jesus Christ”.
Matthew 7 v 7 and 8…..Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened
