We have another DIG inspired by more worship music today!
Listening to a song in the car I was reminded that worship and the act of worship is a choice, we can do it or we can choose not to.
The singer reminded me that worship is for all situations, the bad times as well as the good.
Indeed being able to worship the Lord is something that will help you through the difficult times.
I was having a great time though this afternoon as I drove back from a walk with a brother; a nice walk along the shore where we watched some seals and their pups.
So I was in a good mood as the worship music broke out, but as I sang along I was raised up to a new level.
Worship makes you feel joy, worship takes your mind off self and onto the Lord and worship is just great fun!
But above all else, worship is a choice.
Remember worship is not just singing worship songs, but whatever way you want to help you praise the Lord.
It can be prayer and meditation, bible reading and study, it can even be walking in and enjoying His wonderful creation.
There is something however about singing His praises that is powerful, especially if we are singing our Scripture.
Give it a bash, get some worship music on right now and sing along!
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord for the act of worship and thank you that I am free to worship whenever I choose”.
