There are times when we can all get a bit low and a bit down, and need to be built up.
Friends and family can help build us up but sometimes we are on our own, so what do we do then?
The good news is that we can also build ourselves up.
The Word tells us we can do this by praying in tongues, or as it says, ‘praying in the Holy Ghost’ (Jude 20).
Praying in tongues encourages us and edifies us, building ourselves up again.
The Word has some great advice on how to live our lives, with practical things that we can do to improve our situation in life.
This is one of the best pieces of advice that I can think of in the Word.
It means that we can take responsibility and take the initiative in improving our own lives.
So, are you a wee bit down today, a wee bit discouraged?
Take responsibility, take the initiative and pray in tongues RIGHT NOW!
If you don’t pray in tongues then ask the Lord to baptise you in the Holy Spirit and then go for it.
The Word says if you ask you will receive.
You can pray in tongues if you want to.
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord for the baptism of the Holy Spirit and thank you for the gift of speaking in tongues”.
Jude 20…..But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost
