This afternoon I have been pondering (or meditating) upon the importance of God’s Word in my life.
It is an understanding of God’s Word that will initiate positive change in the life of the believer.
I can testify to this, that as I study and understand the Word, and then implement appropriate actions, my life has got better.
I have seen improved health and I have seen greater abundance as my understating of the Word has increased.
This should be no surprise as that is what the Word actually says!
And as God is no respecter of persons (or has no favourites) this is also what the Word will do for you.
The Word can bring health to your body (Proverbs 3 v 2 and 8).
The Word can bring success into your life (Psalm 1 v 1 to 3).
I say can and not will, as we have to do our part through study and through rightly dividing the Word (2 Timothy 2 v 15).
The time and effort required in this endeavour is worth it, it will change your life!
If you ‘sow’ the seed of the Word into your life and ‘water and feed’ it through study and mediation the seed cannot do anything but grow, germinate and produce fruit.
That is what it was designed for and that is what it will do.
So study and mediation of the Word can only be good for you, your walk and your life.
I encourage you to start (or continue) changing your life through God’s Word.
Speak this out today…..”Thank you lord for your Word and thank you for the positive effects that it can, and will have on my life”.
2 Timothy 3 v 16 and 17…..All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works
