DIG for Thursday the 11th of August…..He is our Heavenly Father and He is full of pride and excitement for us…..Ephesians 1 v 5 and 6

As I was listening to some teaching tonight I had a wonderful revelation about how God the Father sees me.

It as just after I’d sent a text to my son speaking out blessings over the opening night of his musical run that starts tonight.

My heart was full of pride that he was fulfilling his potential and I was so excited for him.

I then thought about my two girls who are also doing great things.

So as I listened to the minister I suddenly realised that God the Father thinks the same about me.

And guess what, he thinks the same about you.

If we are born again we are in the family, we are adopted as sons and that means God is our Father.

Do you think God has any less pride in his sons and daughters than I have?

I realised of course he does not; I realised He has pride in me and is excited about what I am doing.

He is my Heavenly Father so of course He is!

If we can all get this revelation it will change how we relate to God and change how we come to Him.

Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that you are my Heavenly Father and I have been adopted into your family”.

Ephesians 1 v 5 and 6…..Having predestinated us into the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved

DIG for Wednesday the 10th of August…..what is your identity based upon…..Number 13 v 30

What do you think about yourself? How do you see yourself?

These are vital questions that we all required to think about, as how we answer will affect our lives.

In Numbers 13 we see how a number of people see themselves.

Two of the spies sent out by Moses saw themselves as conquerors, well able to defeat their enemies in order to enter into The Promised Land (Number 13 v 30).

Ten of the spies saw themselves as grasshoppers (Numbers 13 v 33).

All the spies knew what the Lord had said about possessing the land, and they all saw the same physical conditions when they were there.

The difference in the spies was how they saw their identity.

Caleb and Joshua based their identity upon what God said.

The other ten spies based their identify upon what they saw with their eyes.

What are you basing your identity upon; spiritual truths or what you see in the world?

The world may be saying that we are weak and powerless however the Word says we are more than conquerors; so what do you believe?

The world says we may be sick and poor, but the Word says we are healed and prosperous, living and abundant life; so what do you use to base your identity upon?

Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that in your Word I can find my true identity in Christ Jesus”.

Numbers 13 v 30…..And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it
