DIG for Friday the 7th of October…..this has nothing to do with the wrath of God…..Hebrews 10 v 17

Well, the ‘doom and gloom’ merchants are at it again, or rather the religious ‘Christians’ who do not understand what happened at the cross!

At the cross Jesus dealt with all sin for all men forever (Hebrews 10 v 12 and 14).

At the cross Jesus brought peace or goodwill toward men from God and brought about our reconciliation.

Jesus dealt with all sin once and for all.

To say that God is now judging a town or nation for their sin is unbiblical, indeed it goes against the perfectly perfect finished work of Jesus Christ.

To say God is sending a hurricane against an area because of sin is a slur on the finished work of Jesus and shows how little that person understands about the Word of God.

Yes, God did things like this under the Old Covenant, but not under the New.

And even under the Old Covenant the righteous were not affected by the curse sent by God.

If God has sent this hurricane against Florida because of homosexuality why have churches (places of worship for the righteous) been destroyed in Haiti?

Sin, including all homosexuality, was dealt with and forgiven at the cross when Jesus willing shed His blood for all men.

God has no more wrath to pour out upon men or nations.

God cannot punish men for sin as we live in a time when our sins and iniquities will He remember no more (Hebrews 10 v 17).

All men have been reconciled to God and all men have forgiven for all their sin; Scripture is quite clear how perfectly perfect the finished work of Jesus Christ was.

God has not sent this hurricane as a punishment, that belief is religious nonsense.

Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that you are a good God and can only send good for us”

Hebrews 10 v 17…..And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more
