I was reading the account of the birth of Jesus again today and could not get past Luke 1 v 38.
The words spoken by Mary, Be it unto me according to thy word, is one of the most powerful statements ever uttered by a human being.
It is also a powerful statement that we can utter on a daily basis.
The Word of God says that we have been healed, so be it unto me according to thy word.
The Word of God says that we can lead a prosperous and abundant life, so be it unto me according to thy word.
The Word of God says that above all things you, Father God, want me to live in health and prosperity, so be it unto me according to thy word.
The Word of God says that we are sons of the Living God, adopted into His family, so be it unto me according to thy word.
The Word of God says I can rejoice always, so be it unto me according to thy Word.
The Word of God says I can lay hands on the sick and see them healed, so be it unto me according to thy word.
Do you see what I am doing here?
I am taking the Word of God and speaking them over my life, just as Mary did.
You can do this too!
There are truths in the Word of God for you to speak over your life today; be it healing, acceptance, forgiveness, joy or prosperity, there are words there for you to be able to say, “be it unto me according to thy word”.
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord for the truths in Your Word that I can speak out over my life today”.
