DIG for Thursday the 5th of January…..I know where consciousness comes from…..Genesis 2 v 7

I saw an article on Facebook this morning discussing reality and consciousness.

It was interesting reading this seeing how the scientists tried to explain where consciousness comes from.

The bottom line is that as a human being we are simply a mass of chemicals and compounds made up of inert matter.

Yet, we can thank and feel and be a conscious being.

Science comes up with all kinds for explanations but none of them (and scientists admit this) truly explain what is going on.

Science cannot explain consciousness, as it is God who is behind it.

God created man out of the dust (inert chemicals and compounds) and then breathed life into him.

It is the breath of God that changes us from inert matter into conscious sentient beings.

There is no other explanation, other than inert matter simply gaining consciousness on its own and that is simply nonsense, not science.

Genesis 2 v 7 describes this process perfectly, in that God took inert material, breathed His life into it and created sentient beings i.e. you and me.

Consciousness, being able to think and perceive, is a gift from God and did not evolve as we are often told.

It simply could not have evolved and created itself.

God created consciousness and God created us, we simply need to accept this and then worship Him accordingly.

Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that you are the Creator and thank you for your wonderful creation”.

Genesis 2 v 7…..And the Lord God formed men of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life: and man became a living soul
