DIG for Tuesday the 24th of January…..all forgiven, all gone, just like having my history rewritten…..Ephesians 1 v 7

I have to be honest and admit that I don’t listen to a lot of Christian artists as I find most Christian music theologically unsound!

However when I find something with good words I can listen to it over and over again.

This happened with a song this afternoon; I’d not listened to it for a while but loved the lyrics so much I played it a few times.

This is the section that caught my attention –

“My past embraced, my sins forgiven, I’m blameless in your sight, my history rewritten”.

Now that is good doctrine!

This is talking about what God thinks about us, and what He thinks about our sins.

Jesus has dealt with all our sin on the cross, so our sin is not an issue for God anymore.

Indeed, He remembers our sins and iniquities no more (Hebrews 10 v 17).

In the eyes of God I am innocent of all charges, with no sin in view; it is as if my past had been rewritten in the mind of God.

And this is true for every single one of us.

Jesus did not miss any sin of any man; He took it all on the cross and did not miss a thing!

My sins have indeed been forgiven and in the eyes of the Lord I am blameless.

Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that all my sins have been forgiven and in your eyes I am blameless and innocent”.

Ephesians 1 v7…..In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace
