DIG for Tuesday the 31st of January…..we have to give people the option to choose…..Romans 1 v 16

On Sunday (the 29th of January) I wrote in my DIG about people having to choose salvation for themselves, thus showing that Predestination is a wrong doctrine (you can also include Universalism in that list of doctrinal errors).

I’ve just ben looking in my Bible and another verse (that I have highlighted in green) has “jumped out” at me.

Romans 1 v 16 is a verse telling us not to be ashamed of the gospel of Christ, because it is faith in this gospel that saves a man.

The verse says it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that beleiveth.

Men have to choose Jesus; men have to have faith in Jesus.

The doctrines that say God chooses who is saved or that every man is saved are wrong and dangerous.

It is for men to believe themselves, thus putting the onus on us to tell them!

We have to inform people so that they can make a choice.

People cannot choose properly without all the information.

Many people still think that God either does not exist or is not the loving God that we know.

The truth about God (explaining His true nature) is what people need to hear.

It is the goodness of God that leads men to change their ways and follow Him (Romans 2 v 4).

It is the good news of Jesus that they all need to hear!

Speak this out…..”Thank you Lord for the finished work of Jesus and thank you that faith in this is the road to salvation”.

Romans 1 v 16…..For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek
