DIG for Saturday the 25th of March…..it is up to you whether you get troubled or not…..Galatians 6 v 17

I saw a great piece of advice as I was reading Galatians this morning.

Paul is writing at the end of his epistle and says, “From henceforth let no man trouble you”.

This spoke to me and said two things; that men will try and trouble him and that it is his choice if he gets troubled.

And I then thought that exactly the same applies to each of us.

As we go about our walk with the Lord people will come against, us, speak out against us and try to trouble us.

It is up to us how we react to this behaviour.

We can get annoyed, anxious or worried or we can ignore it and live in peace; the choice is ours.

As I’ve said before social media is a great tool if used in an appropriate way, however there are a lot of people out there trying to trouble us.

How do we react?

How do we react to friends and family trying to trouble us?

How do we react to work colleagues and even strangers troubling us because of our faith?

We chose how to react in every situation we encounter; we are the only ones responsible for how we think, what we say and how we act in return.

We can be like Paul and not let it trouble us or we can react with our flesh and bring grief and sorrow upon ourselves.

Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord for the example of Paul and thank you that we can choose not to be troubled today”.

Galatians 6 v 17…..From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus
