I had a lovely conversation last night with a young lad and had the privilege to tell him why I believed what I believe.
As I spoke to him I was in wonder at what I used to believe!
Coming from a science background (and no church background) I believed everything I read or was told in a science class; I never really looking into anything myself.
Evolution and the Big Bang were taken as science fact when of course they are just theories.
Now I know I took all this on board without looking for the evidence.
As a believer I am now using what some would call a “scientific method”.
I study the Word and I look for evidence in the world and this leads me to be fully persuaded that there is a Creator God in this universe.
I wrote a couple of days ago about the magnificence of the starts pointing to God.
Last night I was talking about the eye, the pancreas, symbiotic parasitism, metamorphosis and the chicken and the egg among other things; these are all evidence that evolution is a lie and that there has to be a Creator God.
The world and all that is in it screams out that God is alive and active.
A God so in love with His creation that He sent Jesus to reconcile everything under Him (Colossians 1 v 20).
What a mighty and loving God we serve!
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that you loved us so much that you sent Jesus for our reconciliation and forgiveness”.
