DIG for Tuesday the 28th of March…..it is exciting to study the Word, it really is…..2 Timothy 2 v 15

As some of you may know I have recently been heavily involved in setting up a Bible School through our church, and am now having the real privilege of marking the assessments of our students.

I am finding this great fun and I am also really enjoying what I am seeing in the students.

They are really excited about what they are learning; discussing the assessments and scriptures in church and really throwing themselves into their studies.

Yes, it is taking a lot of time and effort, however it is of great worth.

The Word of God, or understanding the Word of God, is the agent of change in our lives.

The students are telling me that they are being changed as a result of their studies.

They can see the benefits of this course of study in their everyday lives.

As a teacher and pastor this is just an amazing thing to be told; making the “work” and “effort” I put in worthwhile.

It is a real “buzz” to see people changed by the Word of God.

This is no surprise as this is what the Word of God says about itself.

We are transformed by the renewing of our mind to the truths that we see in God’s Word (Romans 12 v 2).

I know that I speak for our students when I recommend that you also get into His Word and get your life changed for the better.

Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord for your Word and thank you that it is the agent for positive change in my life”.

2 Timothy 2 v 15…..Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth
