I’m sure you’ve heard the saying that a puppy is not just for Christmas
The same could be said for Jesus!
Acts 5 v 42 says Jesus is for every day of the week and in every place.
Yes, here it mentions temple and house, but for me this means not just at church.
To many people Jesus is a person they “meet with” on a Sunday at church, but we are meant to have a daily relationship with Him.
We are also meant to bring Him to the attention of other people, including our families.
It is interesting though that this verse does not say teach and preach about Jesus Christ.
We are to be Jesus Christ on our homes and to our families; we are to show them Jesus every day in our daily lives.
We are not to teach and preach at them about Jesus but show them Jesus in action.
Rather than teach and preach about Jesus we should demonstrate Him to the world around us.
My wife recently said, “I live what Jesus has done to you”.
She meant that my life had been changed because of Jesus and she could see that change.
This means so much more to people than a sermon or lecture from you!
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that we can (if we wish) bring and show Jesus to a needy world”.
