The book of Galatians is a wonderful description of grace; the unmerited favour and unconditional goodness of God towards His people.
It is crammed full of amazing verses about what He has done for us through Jesus.
Take Galatians 4 v 7 for example.
We should never take a verse out of context of course, however this verse stands alone as a most wonderful statement about how good God is.
We have been redeemed through Jesus and have been adopted as sons into His family (Galatians 4 v 5).
And now that we are sons we are also heirs of God through Jesus (Galatians 4 v 7).
Being an heir in this world brings certain rights and privileges; this is also true in the Kingdom.
In the world you have to wait until a person dies in order to inherit, but in the Kingdom we inherit right now as Jesus has already died!
As sons and heirs we inherit all the goodness of God; we inherit forgiveness, righteousness, healing, prosperity, joy and peace (among other things).
We do not have to wait for the good things of God, we have them now; we have them already (Ephesians 1 v 3).
We need to believe this truth and receive this truth and then we can see the goodness of God made manifest in our lives.
Speak this out today…..Thank you Lord that as a gift of grace through faith in Jesus I am your son and I am your heir”.
Galatians 4 v 7…..Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son: and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ
