Who do you think Jesus was, who do you think Jesus is?
There are lots of answers to these questions.
Some say He was a good teacher and leader, some say he was a moral philosopher, some say He was just a deluded man; there are even people who would say that He did not exist.
You can read hundreds of books about Jesus, but there is only way where you can find the real truth.
That is the Bible.
Near the end of the Gospel of John we read a wonderful verse about Jesus.
It tells us that what we see in the Bible is there to inform us about Jesus, to show us He is the Christ and the Son of God and that through faith in Him we can have life (John 20 v 31).
This is an astonishing verse, really saying if we want to know about Jesus we ought to read the Word.
The whole of the Word is about Jesus, from start to finish.
Genesis 1 v 1 talks of a God who is plural, this talks of Jesus and the Holy Spirit being with God the Father.
The end of Revelation talks about the second coming of Jesus.
From start to finish, if you rightly divide the Word you can read all about Jesus; about His coming birth, about His mission, about the problem He is coming to solve, about His life and death and resurrection.
The Word is all about Jesus and is the place to find out about Him and His finished work.
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord for the Word and thank you that the Word is all about Jesus and His finished work”.
John 20 v 31…..But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name
