Thanks to Nunsy for the DIG today……..
I was praying for someone the other day for healing. As I was praying I was speaking in tongues over the person and I felt how much pleasure it gives God when we draw on what Jesus has done.
In this instance I was using the authority that Jesus has given me (Matt 28:18, Eph 1:19).
I was commanding the healing that Jesus has provided (1 Pet 2:24).
I was using the gift of tongues that He has given to me by the Holy Spirit (Acts 19:6).
And I was considering it pure joy to have the opportunity to release into the physical realm something of what Jesus has provided for us in the spiritual realm (Jas 1:2,3).
Jesus has provided healing. It is a done deal. And as with everything in the Kingdom of God we receive the things that He has done for us by His grace through faith (Eph 2:8, Col 2:6).
This is what gives God pleasure; when we believe that Jesus has done the things that He says He has done, and put faith in those things by acting on them.
James says that faith without works is dead (Jas 2:17, 20, 26). In other words, what is the point of having faith in something and then never making use of it?
We might say that we believe in healing, but what if we never released faith to see someone healed?
Jesus said that it is the Father’s good pleasure to give us the Kingdom (Luke 12:32).
It is His desire that we benefit from what Jesus has done.
It gives Him great pleasure when we release our faith to receive all those things.
Hebrews 11:6 says that without faith it is impossible to please Him. The other way of looking at that is to say that FAITH IS WHAT PLEASES HIM.
He wants us to believe that He is who He says He is, and that He has done what He says He has done, and as we live believing these things, and acting on these things, we will see good results.
The word ‘rewarder’ in this verse means ‘to remunerate’, like to give wages. In other words the Father is promising fruit, results or success as we release faith in all that He has provided by His grace
Speak this out today…..”Thank you Father for everything that you have provided by grace, and that it gives You pleasure when I receive it by faith”.
Hebrews 11 v 6…..But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
