DIG for Saturday the 31st of December…..we are blessed by the work of our hands…..Job 1 v 10

I have had the privilege to meet many young people while I’ve been here in India.

What has really impressed me is their desire for a good education and their drive in achieving this.

Once again I am being taught by the people that we were asked to come and teach.

At the end of each meeting we offering up time for prayer and ministry, and we have been seeing a pattern of what happens next.

We see the older ladies in the fellowship come for prayer, followed by the men.

Then the youth come for prayer, and they always ask for success in their education.

I love that they always wait until the end until their elders have had prayer, showing a real honour and respect for the older people in their community.

Then when it is their turn they ask for prayer over their examinations and their studies.

They want to be a success in life and know it comes through a good education.

This is what we have seen in all the churched we have been in so far and also in the orphanage; children who want a good education in order to get a good job so that they can provide for themselves and their families.

They know the Biblical principle that God will bless you by the work of your hands (Job 1 v 10).

I knew this principle before I came to India and I teach this at home, however what I am seeing is this in action more than I have ever seen it before.

This is a wonderful country with beautiful and hardworking people, and I feel so honoured and privileged to have been invited to share some time with them.

Speak this out today…..”Thank you Lord that you will bless me through the work of my hands and thank you for the skills and talents that you have provided for me to do this”.

Job 1 v 10….Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that h hath on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land
